I provide Marriage, Teen, Parenting & Family counseling and coaching services in New City, NY and in Warwick, NY as well as virtually. Couples, teen and family work often uncovers anxiety, depression, addictions, and other mental health challenges. Family and couples issues include infidelity, affair recovery, parenting and teen issues, ADHD, blended and stepfamily conflicts, sibling, and in-law issues. I provide practical tools and teach skills to help you achieve your goals, often assigning “homework” between sessions.

As a psychotherapist, I use practical approaches, often combining life coaching with therapy, because traditional talk therapy often keeps clients stuck in their heads, in their old limiting beliefs about themselves, and sometimes addicted to the therapy itself. It is crucial not to dwell unnecessarily on the past. However, to the extent that unresolved past feelings are still coming up and corresponding behaviors are playing out in the present, they are, in truth, present issues.

If you are suffering with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, PTSD, grief, or anger management, I can help you overcome symptoms and their underlying causes with traditional as well as alternative psychotherapeutic and energy healing techniques including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT, a form of “energy psychology.” I facilitate and teach meditation and utilize hypnotherapy techniques.

 

Such techniques assist not only in stress reduction but in manifesting life goals. Spiritual life coaching and support is offered as well.
