Hypnotherapy and Meditation
Hypnosis and meditation involve working with an individual in a state of high relaxation and focus. By using these modalities, one's brain waves operate at a lower frequency — descending from beta (normal consciousness) to alpha and then theta and ultimately delta. As a result, one is more susceptible to accessing underlying, unconscious feelings and is also more receptive to the introduction of new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. “Guided imagery” or visualization is very effective as a means of manifesting new realities through either re-experiencing an event or circumstance in a new light, and/or creating a new and desired situation or outcome.

Meditation is a powerful tool to achieve a myriad of positive results including inner peace, increased relaxation, self-confidence, and an ability to “let go” of ones ego or “addiction to thinking”. I facilitate and teach meditation and hypnosis as mechanisms for both stress reduction and relaxation, as well as for meaningful emotional and behavioral change.
